Integrative analysis of DNA methylation and gene expression reveals hepatocellular carcinoma-specific diagnostic biomarkers

Taking advantage of the TCGA DNA methylation data, we identified 6 HCC-specific CpGs as potential diagnostic biomarkers, which can distinguish hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) from normal liver tissue as well as tumor/normal tissues in patients with various other types of cancer.
